A bit quieter today - only 4 trips to/from Thuir (approx 2km from where we're staying).
However, every Frenchman thinks he is Gilles Villeneuve (okay, so HE is Canadian, but he has a French name, so that counts as French) and tries to drive you in to the ditch of the (very narrow) roads. Harrowing!
Both Charlie and Sophie in school today, although Sophie back for lunch still (till next week) from 12 to 2pm (yes, a full 2 hours for lunch). Next week they're both in school from 8:30am to 5pm - freedom!!
Pretty windy today, but very warm - a bit like living in a grain dryer.
Girding the loins to visit the bank tomorrow - I think we have all the necessary paperwork printed out, but we'll only find out when we get there......
Simon
Romain Grosjean or Alain Prost I think
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're all having fun. Windy and cold here. Fence panel blown out of posts up over bushes and landed on my very expensive astro turf (looks like no damage thankfully). Received thank you off girls for presents today, so tell them thanks.
