A day of administrivia......

Lots of faffing around today.
Bank account - we didn't bring the correct documentation (despite what the chap in Calgary told us!)
Car - turns out it's WAY cheaper for us to lease a brand new car for four months than it is for us to rent one - go figure.....
And apparently insuring one for less than a year is out of the question (at least, as far as our French was able to argue).
Spent 29€ on getting 8 sheets of paper scanned to send to the lease company (in Maine!)
It'll be a miracle if all this actually works.


Kids are now in school, but we still need to:

1. Register then for the canteen.
2. Get them insured (!!!!)
3. Figure out Charlie's timetable (would be easier to solve the Bridges Of Koenigsberg).

Both had their first lots of homework (good) and Sophie gets every Wednesday off (not good)!

Multiple local animals - cats and dogs, including an expectant mother.
