Sunshine

We've had a week of lovely sunshine. The kids have been playing outside:

And we ate lunch outside most days:

The bird life around our house is incredible. We are getting used to the dawn chorus again--something that is so much louder here than in Canada. It reminds us of England! We also have lots of visitors to the pond just down the lane. This is a grey heron (we think!)

(Ed: what Jo has failed to mention is the bloody cockerel just down the drive which thinks it's daybreak at 3am, 4am, 5am, 6am - you get the picture. We think there is a Coq-au-Vin coming on....
