Torreilles Plage

Charlie only had one lesson at school this morning as her other teachers were absent and the students go home when the teacher is absent! And, of course, Sophie has no school on Wednesdays, so we went the the beach for the day!

 

Mugged by a kid....

So, there I was, out on a run minding my own business, when I got mugged by a bunch of sheep and goats....

I'm sure this one is the ringleader!!

Rugby: Thuir vs Lunel

Charlie and I went to the local stadium (Stade Eugene Ribere) to watch local team UST (Union Sportive Thurinoise) play Lunel (Rugby Olympique Lunellois - from near Montpellier).

Local team UST got off to a good start, ending the first half 18-9 up.

Not a bad place to be playing rugby!!

Things continued well in the second half....

Tempers eventually getting the better of the visiting team....

Thuir end up running out winners 35-9.

Castelnou in the Mist

A rare damp day at a "perched village" about 10 minutes drive from us.

Collioure

Today we took a drive over to Collioure again. We bought goodies at the market, then settled ourselves down at an outdoor café while the kids played on the beach.

 

Then we explored the cliff walk:
